Hi, I’m Zeus

I’m a very wonderful, gentle red Doberman - once I know you (a few minutes to sniff you out and take a couple of treats) and then I’m your forever buddy. I like to lie on my bed and watch the world go by, but throw my squeaky toy and I’ll chase and retrieve. I also have that Doberman lean down to a fine art - if you’ll rub my ears then my tail will wag & wag & wag and I'll melt into you.

I love my foster home – it is such a change from my last home – but I really want my permanent place. Latterly my previous home neglected to feed me – I had to eat my toys! I came into rescue 20+ pounds underweight and pooping bits of rubber ball – but fortunately – all my medicals were really good, I must have good genes.

I do well on walks, not overly reactive to other people or dogs - just what you would expect from a well mannered Dobe. I’ve seen cats – yes they are interesting but I think probably best to leave them well alone.
