This is the beautiful 4 or 5 yr old Cooper.
Apparently he wasn't kept on Heartworm preventative . . . so now the poor guy is now in the middle of heartworm treatment.
We are getting to know his very earnest nature and that he can jump 4' fences!

- Cooper update! -
He's doing very well! He will get his last Heartworm treatment at the end of March. Then he has another few weeks of leash walking and no running or excitement.

He's a pleasure to foster, friendly & very sweet. He'll need a home w/ a tall fence – as he has a thing about squirrels! At our house we have to take him out on a very long line so as to keep him from climbing/jumping the 4’ fence. He used to dive into his food bowl even before it had been put down – now he's learned to sit and wait for it and then to eat more slowly. Also we're no longer using mouse traps on counter tops.

After a few days here, he discovered "TOYS" and likes to arrange them. He "seems" friendly w/ other dogs, but due to his heartworm treatment, he can't play with them yet. He's not a fan of cats (or squirrels) !
